1. Peraturan Menteri Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan TinggiNo. 60 Tahun 2018 tentang Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Program Sarjana padaPerguruan Tinggi Negeri melalui jalur SNMPTN, SBMPTN, dan Seleksi Mandiri;
2. Peraturan Rektor No. 174/UN38/HK/KM/2016 tentangPenerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Berkebutuhan Khusus;
3. Peraturan Rektor No. 179/UN38/HK/KM/2016 tentangPenerimaan Mahasiswa Baru berdasarkan Prinsip Pemerataan Wilayah.
There are several types of admission ;
National selection based on achievement includes academic and/or non-academic achievements. National selection is based on 2 (two) components:
1) the first component, which is calculated based on the average report card score for all subjects of at least 50% (fifty percent) of the assessment weight; and
2) the second component, which is calculated based on the report card scores of a maximum of 2 (two) supporting subjects for the intended study program, portfolio, and/or achievements of a maximum of 50% (fifty percent) of the assessment weight
National selection based on tests is carried out using computer-based standardised tests. Standardised tests are tests that measure cognitive potential, mathematical reasoning, literacy in Indonesian, and English literacy.
Academic Report Based
A selection that is held independently by Unesa by assessing participants' academic reports and achievements. Apart from that, specifically for sports and arts study programs, assessments are carried out from portfolios for participants.
National Selection's Score Based
A selection that is held independently by Unesa by considering the participant's National Selection Score. The prioritised score is in accordance with the study program chosen by the student.
Achievement-Based Selection
A selection organised independently by Unesa specifically for students who have good achievements at district, provincial, national, and international levels. Achievements do not have to be in the form of championships but can also be in the form of participation. Specifically for religious achievement, achievement is measured by the participant's religious understanding. Selection for this route is through a written test and skills test.
The Unesa Computer Based-Test is a selection route held independently by Unesa where participants work on questions that have been prepared by the Unesa Exam's team. This selection is carried out through a computer-based written test, both online and offline.
Disability
The Disability Pathway is a selection pathway organised independently by Unesa specifically for participants who have limitations or are commonly known as Children with Special Needs (ABK) Selection. Selection is carried out through written tests and interviews
Magetan Satellite Campus-Selection
A selection pathway organised independently by Unesa specifically for study programs at the Magetan satellite campus. Selection is carried out through a computer-based written test, both online and offline.
Affirmation
The Affirmation pathway is a selection pathway held based on recommendations from the ministry to accommodate students in the 3T (Disadvantaged, Frontier and Outermost areas) area. Selection for affirmation pathways is adjusted to ministry policy
The Collaboration Pathway is a selection pathway organised independently by Unesa which is based on a collaboration process between Unesa and Partners. Selection is carried out in accordance with the agreement between Unesa and partners as stated in the cooperation memorandum.
The Level Transfer pathway is a selection pathway organised independently by Unesa specifically for diploma students who wish to switch to the undergraduate pathway. Selection is carried out through a computer-based written test.
The Overseas Pathway is a selection route organised independently by Unesa specifically for foreign students or Indonesian students who wish to take international classes. Meanwhile, the international selection route is implemented through the following scheme:
Regular Program
Regular programs for international students are also offered with the following requirements:
Non-Indonesian citizens (those who hold Indonesian citizenships are not eligible)
Hold high school diploma for undergraduate/BIPA program.
Hold bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree for postgraduate program
Show a strong interest in seeking a full-time degree at UNESA.
Have preparation in, and a demonstrated commitment to the chosen field of study
Be willing and able to attend an interview session in Indonesia or over a zoom interview.
IUP (International Undergraduate Program)
UNESA International Undergraduate Program aims to provide each student with an academic experience of international quality. Since the curriculum is specifically designed to enable students to compete globally in various fields, all students must do a minimum of 1 month of outbound exchange at their own expense or grant (if selected) to various UNESA partner universities abroad. As a result, they will get the best learning experience at world-class universities and build a global network that could provide significant benefits upon graduation. All academic activities in the International Track program shall be conducted in Indonesian and/or English, while in the International Class, the language of instruction is entirely in English.
Students can gain foreign experience through the following activities:
A dual degree programme with a partner university in another country.
A student exchange;
International internship(s);
Short-term academic programmes (international seminars/workshops, inter/summer courses at partner universities overseas, international championships, etc.)
